Noble by nature. Engineered to last.
Genuine European oak and precision German engineering — the timber at the heart of every HARO floor.
The beauty of solid oak, without its limitations.
Every HARO floor begins with real European oak — hand-graded for character, then engineered in Germany into a multi-layer board that stays flat, stable and beautiful for generations. You get the warmth, grain and depth of natural timber, built to be lived on in an Australian home.

Real oak, made stable.
A selected European wood surface is bonded to a solid spruce core for balance, strength and dimensional stability. Every plank arrives pre-finished — ready to live on from the day it is installed.

Engineered oak vs solid timber
Solid boards are milled from a single piece of hardwood — beautiful, but they move as one piece, gapping in summer and cupping in winter. HARO's engineered construction counters this: bonding the layers against the grain largely cancels that movement out, so the floor stays flat.
- Stability — far less movement through seasonal humidity swings.
- Underfloor heating — engineered is compatible; solid generally is not.
- Sandable — the ~3.5 mm oak wear layer can be sanded back several times.
- Efficient — a precious hardwood layer over a stable core uses each tree far more efficiently.
The complete room concept.

Every board, individual.
Because it is real wood, no two HARO boards are ever quite the same. Grade sets how much natural character — knots, colour and grain — your floor shows, from calm and uniform to wild and rustic; surface finish and structure decide how it feels underfoot.
