The detail beneath the beauty.

Construction, formats, surfaces, installation and warranty — everything you need to specify a HARO floor.

Construction

Most HARO floors are three-layer engineered timber: a 3.5 mm wear layer of hand-graded European oak, bonded to a cross-stacked solid spruce core over a softwood backing veneer. Cross-bonding the layers all but eliminates the swelling and shrinking of solid wood — so the board stays flat and stable, season after season.

Our parkettmanufaktur herringbone and strip parquet use a two-layer construction, just 10 mm thick with a ~3.5 mm oak top — a low build height that's ideal for renovations and always laid bonded.

Board formats

  • Plank 1-Strip PLAZA — extra-wide, 240 × 2200 mm.
  • Plank 1-Strip — the classic, 180 × 2200 mm.
  • Longstrip (3-strip) — a finer, traditional pattern, 180 × 2200 mm.
  • Herringbone, Carré & XL — hand-finished parkettmanufaktur formats, up to 4 m long.

Surfaces & finishes

  • naturaDur — a high-performance, scratch- and stain-resistant surface that keeps a natural, matt look.
  • permaDur — a hard-wearing lacquer for high-traffic spaces.
  • naturaLin plus & oleovera — breathable natural oils that deepen the grain and can be refreshed in place.
  • Brushed structuring lifts the grain for extra texture and depth.

Installation — three ways

  • Floating · Top Connect click — fast, glue-free and removable; the most popular method for 3-layer floors.
  • Full-surface bonding — glued with HARO's low-emission elastic adhesive for the quietest underfoot feel and best heat transfer over underfloor heating.
  • ComforTec self-adhesive — self-adhesive planks over HARO Primer: the quiet of a glued floor with the speed of a click install.

Underfloor heating

The entire HARO parquet range is suitable for modern underfloor heating and cooling. Bonded installation gives the best heat transfer — and because timber feels warm underfoot, you can typically run the system a degree or two cooler.

Warranty

HARO engineered floors carry a 30-year residential warranty (laminate 25 years), subject to correct installation and care.
